The Cakeman

For 26 years, Kerry Sullivan has resided in Coffs Harbour NSW, and considers his hometown as one of the best places to live in Australia.

After completing his Higher School Certificate, Kerry commenced a Pastry Cooking apprenticeship in 1987 and never looked back. Throughout his school years, Kerry always had a love for art and soon found his creativeness worked hand in hand with food preparation, along with the craftsmanship required in order to be a successful Pastry Cook.

After receiving numerous prestigious awards, including winning a scholarship trip to Chicago USA, Kerry discovered his niche in the wedding market and soon realised the huge demand for unique, quality wedding cakes to suit all tastes. Kerry has built a solid reputation in the Coffs Harbour district and has supplied cakes for hundreds of couples from around Australia choosing to ‘tie the knot' in his area.

Kerry now has the honour of being a Judge each year for the Australian Baking Industry National Scholarship Awards, and is a regular writer for wedding cake articles in Australia and New Zealand's premier baking magazine ‘Leading Edge Journal'.
