After completing his Higher School Certificate, Kerry commenced a Pastry Cooking apprenticeship in 1987 and never looked back. Throughout his school years, Kerry always had a love for art and soon found his creativeness worked hand in hand with food preparation, along with the craftsmanship required in order to be a successful Pastry Cook.
After receiving numerous prestigious awards including NSW Top Apprentice of the Year, as well as a scholarship trip to Chicago USA for taking out the prestigious National title for the ABINSA, Kerry discovered his niche in the wedding market. Kerry is an accredited member of the ABIA - Austalian Bridal Industry Academy and was a very close runnerup at the recent 2010 NSW Awards held at Dockside in Sydney.
Apart from making cakes Kerrys favourite past time is boxing. Sounds a bit strange that a cake decorator also gets a kick out of stepping in the ring but fortunately nowadays Kerrys main involvement is fighting for charity at Kostya Tszyu's boxing academy in Sydney once a year.A great way to keep fit and helping raise money for the PCYC.
